Philanthropy
The Mystical Order of the Phoenix has a strong sense of duty to our community and the people within it. It is this desire to make a positive impact and help improve the lives of others that spearheads our Philanthropy Committee. Our Phoenix sisters volunteer at Hotel Hope, Girls on the Run, gather supplies for local schools, donate holiday food baskets and gifts for families in need, and are now building free community little libraries. Please consider joining the Philanthropy Committee or donating your time and/or money to one of the many causes we support.
To donate for any cause please click below and in the Venmo notes please put “Philanthropy”. To send a donation to help build the Little Free Libraries please click below and in the Venmo notes write “Libraries”. We thank you for your support! Hail YOU!!

MOOTP Fire and Ice Little Library
The ladies of the Mystical Order of the Phoenix want to be a catalyst for building community, inspiring readers, and expanding book access for all through a network of book-exchange boxes called the Fire & Ice Libraries. We believe all people are empowered when the opportunity to discover a personally relevant book to read is not limited by time, space, or privilege.
Our first little free library dedication to Jiar Joseph Means. He is the son of Chan Means who is a Phoenix sister. This library will go up at Slim Goodies on Magazine Street.
We are collecting new or slightly used books for all ages. If you would like to sponsor a library of get a group together to sponsor a library, contact Monique Breaux at mbreaux67@gmail.com Director of Philanthropy.
Back to School Drive Leah Chase School
We are so proud to be a sponsor of the Leah Chase School. We collected school supplies for the children and we had the chance to walk through this beautiful new school. Our donations will allow over 300 children to have brand new materials that will help them feel confident to learn. This has opened up a brand new partnership with this beautiful school.
Food Drive for Leah Chase School food pantry – collection will be at the Rules of the Ride on December 7, 2024.
